Dr. Larry Wilkinson
Dr. Larry Wilkinson joined the practice of his father, Dr. J. W. Wilkinson, in 1973, after graduating from the University of Houston College of Optometry. When Dr. Jack retired in 1999, Dr. Larry fully acquired the practice, and has continued to expand. The practice has been continually family owned and operated for over 65 years. Dr. Larry is a member of the Texas Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. He has served with many local organizations, being the Chairman of the Rosenberg Housing Development for twenty years. Dr. Wilkinson also served on the Rosenberg City Council, as well as serving two terms as Mayor of Rosenberg. Dr. Wilkinson is now semi-retired, and sees patients on Wednesdays and Fridays.
Dr. Faris Ohan
Dr. Faris Ohan is a 2004 graduate of the Southern College of Optometry, where he graduated Valedictorian of his optometry class. He has received his Bachelor of Science degree in Materials Science and Engineering from the University of Tennessee, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Dr. Ohan serves on the Paraoptometric CE Review Committee of the American Optometric Association. He has been with Vision Trends Eye Care since obtaining his Optometry degree in 2004. Dr. Ohan sees patients in our office on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Saturdays.
Dr. Ouida Middleton
Dr. Ouida Middleton graduated from the University of Houston College of Optometry in 2000. She is a native Houstonian, and has been with Vision Trends Eye Care since 2003. Dr. Middleton served for many years as a Regional Trustee to the National Optometric Association. Dr. Middleton sees patient in our office on Fridays and Saturdays, and often on Wednesdays when Dr. Larry is out of town.
Dr. Grace Tran
Dr. Grace Tran joined our practice in February, 2017. You will find her in the office Mondays thru Fridays. Dr. Tran is a graduate of the University of Houston College of Optometry. She received her Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Texas in Austin. Dr. Tran is board certified in the treatment and management of ocular disease. She is also state certified as a therapeutic glaucoma specialist. Dr. Tran is a member of the Texas Optometric Association and the American Optometric Association. In her spare time, Dr. Tran enjoys volunteer work, cooking, yoga, and spending time with family and friends.
Linda has been the office manager for the practice since 1982, and is now semi-retired, along with Dr. Larry. She & Dr. Larry enjoy traveling and have been to many exciting destinations, including Europe, South America, Antarctica, and South Africa, to name a few. Linda helped to establish the Rosenberg Railroad Museum, serving for many years as Secretary, Treasurer, and President. She now volunteers with Lakewood Church in Houston. When not working or traveling, Linda enjoys her grandchildren and her dogs.
Pat has been working for Vision trends for over 25 years. She was born and raised in Reading Massachusetts. She moved to Texas in the later 70’s saying she got here as soon as she could. She has seen a lot of change in Texas in general and the Rosenberg/Richmond area in particular. She has 2 grown children who both graduated from LCISD. She has lived in Pecan Grove for the past 25 years. She enjoys golf and walking her dogs. She works primarily in the contacts area and is also the Administration manager.
Ron has been with Vision Trends for 18 years. With that many years, he is well experienced in being our Dispensary Manager. Ron loves seeing all the second and third generation patients who have been seeing his grandfather, Dr. Jack, and father, Dr. Larry, for over 67 years. During the summers, Ron is a full time dad in addition to his office responsibilities. Ron enjoys traveling in Mexico and fishing is his favorite hobby.
Adriana has been a part of our optometric family for over ten years. She works in administration, with her primary responsibility being filing and auditing insurance. Adriana also answers the phone, and is a backup for the front desk. With Adriana’s ten years of experience, she can perform most all of the duties of our administrative area. Adriana has two sons, and they enjoy spending time playing baseball.
Mandy has been with our office for 4 ½ yrs. She does administrative support, working primarily at the front desk. Mandy greets you when you come in, and assists you when you’re checking out. She also answers the phone, assists contacts lens patients, and keeps our website and Facebook current. She is a native born Texan, having lived in the Needville area all of her life. Mandy enjoys tennis, camping, and spending time with her loved ones.
Ana joined our optometric family in March of 2016. She works at our front desk, and came to us having previously worked in another optometric office in Houston. Ana currently lives in the country, residing in Beasley. She was born in Old Mexico, but came to Texas when she was quite young. Ana is studying toward becoming a para legal, and eventually, an attorney. Living in the country allows Ana to have five dogs, which keep her busy and brings her much joy. She enjoys writing, traveling and music.
Adriane goes by “Jade” in our office, as we already had one “Adrian” and one “Adriana”, when she joined us almost three years ago. Jade has three daughters that keep her busy. Her oldest just moved away to college. Her middle daughter, Kayla, is now working for us part time after school. Jade’s daughters are very involved in FFA, so you never know what type of animals they are raising. Jade works in our administrative area, with her primary focus being in the insurance area and helps with patient pre-testing.
Adrian has been with us for almost five years. She works in our optical dispensary, and is great at assisting our patients in finding the fashion perfect frame and lenses that are just right. She’s very knowledgeable of the many different lens types that are available. Adrian has two sons who are ten months apart in age and are both in the first grade. Their passion is playing football. Adrian says being a mother is both her challenge and her joy. We are glad she is a part of our optometric family.
David joined our practice in January of 2016. David works in our on-site lab, doing our in-house fabrication of lenses, and completing the eye glass orders. He makes sure that the glasses we do not fabricate in-office are ordered correctly, and checks for accuracy of the order. David is originally from Tennessee. He married this past summer, and has a four year old darling daughter.
“Patty”, as she is known is our office, has been with us since March of 2016. Patty is one of our opticians, having previously worked in another field. She enjoys working with our patients, assisting them in selecting their frames and lenses. Patty was born in Wyoming, and moved to Texas when she was ten years old. She comes from a large family of five brothers and four sisters. She has three grown children and four grandchildren. Patty has been married for ten years and has lived in Rosenberg for five years.
Sergio recently returned to Vision Trends working full time. For the past year and a half, he worked on Saturdays only. Sergio is an experienced optician, and we are happy to welcome him back. He has a beautiful daughter, and enjoys spending as much time with her as possible. Sergio also serves on the Rosenberg Planning Commission.
